MASSEY GP TRACTORS

Massey-Harris 4wd tractors were very much ahead of their time and have achieved cult status despite many of them having survived. In this respect, they are like the iconic Ferguson-Browns for which many have also survived. Both are now highly sought after and currently command big prices despite not being rare. The Massey-Harris General Purpose tractors, or GPs as they are commonly known, were produced between 1930 and 1938. The type 1 had side-valve Hercules OOC four-cylinder engines, whilst the later type 2 had Hercules OHC ohv engines apparently of similar power.
