GRAPE ESCAPE
In new series Under the Vines, Charles Edwards plays Louis, a London lawyer who has inherited a rundown Central Otago vineyard from his uncle. But he’s not the sole heir – he arrives in Queenstown to find he’s sharing the estate with Rebecca Gibney’s Daisy, a strapped-for-cash Sydney socialite who was the owner’s stepdaughter. Together, they must decide whether to sell up or stay and make a go of it (spoiler: a second series has already been commissioned by streaming platform Acorn TV) while coping with the bemused locals.
