My Life in Boats

Paul Hochhauser, owner of 30-metre Ferretti Carbon Copy

My first boat, about 50 years ago, was a 6.4-metre Trojan with a 75-horsepower outboard engine. My first yacht was a 13.4-metre Hatteras, but my favourite was a 23.5-metre Hatteras motor yacht. We now have a beautiful 30.5-metre Ferretti called Carbon Copy – my father was in the coal business and our company was called Carbo. We also have a wave runner, a tender called Fuelish and a 9.8-metre Intrepid centre console for tooling around called Fuelish Too.
