Armchair Travels Japan

Have I ever mentioned that I love my job? I love to explore new countries with fellow quilters, shopping, eating and sightseeing in new destinations. I have worked as a tour host since 2008 and have not enjoyed having my wings clipped for these last two years. I can’t wait to take off in April 2022 to discover the delights of Japan in spring. I have previously travelled there in autumn, so to travel to our near neighbour in warmer weather will be delightfully different.

Japan is a country of contradictions. Before you travel there, you think of geishas, sushi, technology, skyscrapers, bullet trains and modern living. However, once you arrive, you soon realise it is
