A MAJOR SHAKEUP TO THE MINORS

In December 2020, Major League Baseball finalized its reshaping of the minor leagues. MLB took over Minor League Baseball and made sweeping changes by restructuring leagues and classifications and reducing the number of affiliates from 160 to 120.
