Unorthodox Roasters
t began with a ten-month trip around South and Central America. In 2015, Chris Bode and his business partner Neil Buchan quit their jobs (as an accountant and restaurant manager, respectively) to take something of an adult gap year, which evolved into a tour of coffee plantations. Sixteen countries and countless cups of Joe later, the pair were buzzing – quite literally – to launch a business selling their favourite beverage. And so Unorthodox Roasters was born.
