“Whenever we design any structure, I always imagine myself being its ‘owner’,” says architect Gelo Mañosa. “I try and picture how my inherently Filipino culture would work within the given spaces. Growing up, I remember my father always instilling in us the importance of family. These lessons and values have been passed down from his father, and his father’s father. Now, I find myself imparting those values on my children.”
