Fabrics Required

• Star and Diamond block fabrics – Forty-one (41) fat eighths or twenty-one (21) fat quarters*
• Spacer block fabric – 2½yds OR if you wish to create the illusion of the border, see fabrics below
• Main spacer fabric (light) – 1½yds
• Border spacer fabric (dark) – 1yd
• Backing – 4½yds
• Batting – 80in x 80in
• Binding – ⅔yd
• Templates (see your cover gift)
• 28mm rotary cutter
• 28wt neutral sewing thread
• Sharps needles size 10 or 11
• Fine line marking pencil for the back of the fabric
• Sheet of sandpaper to stabilize fabric if you draw the lines on it (optional)

• Rubber thimble• Three (3) balls DMC Cotton Perle No5• Size 1 cotton darners needles• 12wt cotton• Size 6 embroidery or betweens needles
