MORRIS 1100

OIL PRESSURE CONCERN

QI have a 1968 Morris 1100 which drives very well. I am extremely pleased with it and the car has given no major trouble. The engine and gearbox are smooth and very reliable, but the one concern I have is that the oil light will flicker when the engine is hot and I come to a standstill and allow the engine to idle. The car does have an oil pressure gauge, and according to this the pressure is around 60psi when running and drops to around 25psi when stationary and ticking over. The oil and filter are regularly changed, and I never exceed 5000 miles between changes. Should I be concerned about the flickering light?
