Is the NHS at BREAKING POINT?

Being able to turn to your GP when you need them is something that most people have taken for granted over recent years. For many, GPs have been a reassuring figure in times of need, and always just a phone call away.

However, more people than ever are finding it difficult to see their doctor, with one in 10 having to wait three weeks for an appointment, and a study by the British Red Cross suggests patients are turning to A&E. Desperate for treatment or reassurance, people often feel they have no other option than going to Casualty units, which is exacerbating the current crisis the NHS is facing.
