Looking for Bargains in a Tough Spot Gold $2.50 Indian Head Quarter Eagles

The Indian Head design that graced our quarter eagles from 1908 to 1929 remains something of a special image for collectors, as this is the first time that a coin’s elements were completely incuse – meaning the field was higher than any part of the overall design.
