Looking for Value Among the Seated Liberty Dimes

Mr. Christian Gobrecht probably didn’t expect his Seated Liberty design to take over United States silver coinage as completely and totally as it did in the 19th century – or to take it over for so long. For example, the first dimes sporting his now-classic artistry were released for public use in 1837. Mr. Gobrecht passed in 1844, unfortunately, yet the Seated Liberty dimes held their place all the way until 1891.
