    Hi Jeanne, tell us a bit about yourself. I grew up in The Hague; my mum was a fashion journalist turned art historian, and my dad was a documentary maker. My whole childhood was filled with stories of Ottoman embroidery, textiles and silks. My mum bought me a sewing machine when I was 14, so I would often make dresses from thrifted curtains and fabrics I found.
