    Amazon Prime now offers so many benefits that its £79 annual membership fee is actually pretty good value. But if you only want Prime to bag Black Friday bargains, and get early access to Amazon’s Lightning Deals (time-limited offers of variable quality), there is a workaround that won’t cost you a thing.

    Simply sign up for Prime’s 30-day free trial (, see screenshot above right) and cancel before Amazon charges you.
