He was a specialist – an endocrinologist trained in the systems of the body that regulate metabolism, growth and development, hormones and sleeping patterns.
His patients were struggling with thyroid problems, hormone imbalances and diabetes. They trusted him to help them – instead they claim he allegedly violated and abused them.
Four women came forward to accuse Dr Gregory Hough (49) of misconduct, sexual assault and even rape during consultations and last month the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA) found him guilty on four counts of sexual assault and one of unprofessional conduct for doing an internal exam
