THE 2021 FLATHEAD CLASSIC

OW in its 27th year, the Flathead Classic, hosted by the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club, is held every year to coincide with school holidays. Unfortunately Covid prevented the competition from having the usual social venues, meals and social mixing the tournament is famous for, so the competition became an online format. This worked quite well in what is obviously a restricted format. Despite having no teams visiting from NSW or Victoria, there were still 176 teams registered for the event.
