MINIATURES OUT IN FORCE AT CROMFORD

Despite the wet weather in the days leading up to the 50th Anniversary Cromford Steam Rally, a number of miniature engines were to be seen at the show, and were popular exhibits says David Reed.

Due to the hard work of the organisers, the rally did go ahead, although the ground conditions were so bad in places that traditional ring parades were severely restricted.
