Filipino Institute to start K-12 program for SY 2021-2022 on Aug 29
Under the Department of Education (DepEd) curriculum, the Filipino Institute offers three learning methods: Regular Online Class (5 times a week), Alternating Online Class (3 times a week), Home-based Online Class (Teacher meets up with students once a week, online).
The UAE-based training centre offers the program to kids residing in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The entire 12 years of rigorous education are composed of six years of elementary education, four years of junior high, and two years of senior high school. Through this program, learners will be prepared and equipped with the skills needed for employment, entrepreneurship, middle-level skills development, and higher education even if they plan to do so after graduation.
According to Mr. Gabriel John Rimando, the founder and president of the Filipino Institute, the lessons within every lecture are connected explicitly to the DepEd standard information and core learning standards which are aligned through the study of a range of media text sorts, developmental writing, collaboration, descriptive arguments, student-building information, and communication skills.
“The program is designed to fulfill the requirements and capabilities through interactive, self-paced, and offers customized education to students through a range learning methodology, bringing these standards to life, through careful designing, instruction,” he said.
Mr. Rimando further added that each course of study is meant to boost the essential skills in core and minor subjects.
The partnership with the Philippine-based ecumenical learning institution embraces English, Filipino, Math, Science, Social Studies, Values Education, Music, Arts, Physical Education, Health, ICT (TLE).
