Gels are not my thing. I’ve tried a few brands over the years and have found most to be sickly sweet with an unpleasant aftertaste. It always felt like I was sucking down a mouthful of chemically, unnatural stuff. Certainly not something I could consume for hours on end during a long training run or ultra.
