AERO WARRIOR
The late ’60s were an absolutely wild time in Nascar racing. It was during this era, against the backdrop of the anti-establishment hippy movement, the political assassinations, and some guy called Neil taking one small step high above, that Nascar saw a revolution of its own. This brief period during the 1969–1970 seasons came to be known as the ‘aero wars’ and is most famously represented by two machines, both from the Chrysler Corporation: the iconic Dodge Daytona and the Plymouth Superbird.
