Seabird sanctuary
There’s good news for the bustling seabird breeding sites of Rathlin Island in Northern Ireland – they’ll be protected by a major new conservation project. The island’s rugged cliffs and wide expanses of grasslands provide shelter for vast numbers of guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and colourful puffins, to name a few. Working alongside the local community, RSPB NI and its partners will safeguard this crucial habitat so that future generations can enjoy its glorious wildlife. Visit rspb.org to find out more.
