This is a wonderful animal portrait with the red kite looking directly down the barrel of the lens. It’s also full of sublime autumnal colours and leaves that perfectly complement the bird’s brown feathers. Edward’s framing works terrifically well, placing the subject right in the middle of his composition making for an unforgettable shot.
