This is an incredible macro shot of a robberfly from Arno. He used a specialist Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro lens to take this stunning close up. It’s extremely difficult to achieve a sharp image when shooting so close to your subject, but Arno has impressively rendered his tiny subject super sharp by using the focus stacking technique to merge 40 pictures together for a deeper depth of field.
