Economic pressure driving demand for affordable meat

The price of Class A beef at the end of September was almost 1% lower month-on-month (m/m), while that of Class C beef was 4,3% higher (see Graph 1).
The latter was a symptom of strong demand for more affordable meat due to the economic pressure on consumers.
