Decked Out Pizza Co, Brighton’s newest pizzeria, may have only been slinging out the slices for six months, but they have really started to make waves among the food community. Operating out of Dead Wax Social, their music inspired, American style pizzas not only have great names but also unbelievable flavour combinations. Who would have thought that kale and broccoli on a pizza would work? Trust us, it does. Their menu offers an equal balance of vegetarian, vegan and meat pizzas and consists of family favorites such as Margarita and Pepperoni alongside more left-field options such as Pear and blue cheese topped with honey. Here at BN1, we can’t get enough of the ‘Last Night N’duja Saved My Life’ (N’duja salami, mascarpone and red onion jam - Yum!) and are sure you will feel the same when you taste it.
If you are musically inclined, head down on Monday evenings for open mic night where performers are treated to half-price pizza or on Wednesdays at 9pm, enjoy your slice while joining DJ Cashback for his music based pub quiz. No matter what night you come down to Dead Wax Social, you will find some of Brighton’s finest selectors in this vinylonly bar creating the perfect soundtrack to your evening, Wednesday through Saturday late into the night.
