YOU WILL NEED

■ Medium-weight woven fabric: 1.5–2m x 150cm wide

■ Contrasting fabric for the waistband lining: 10–20cm

■ Scrap of interfacing (optional)

■ Twill tape, 1cm wide: 2–2.5m

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

■ We’ve used a linen and cotton mix. A soft needlecord would work well.

NOTES

■ Seam allowances are 1.5cm.
