The studio offers a unique take on fitness bands with bands that are attached to a board, allowing for different exercises that use all parts of your body and incorporate strength training and cardio. “People think bands are easy,” Murray notes, “but they come in and they’re surprised at how challenged they are.” Another advantage of the board is preventing accidents from bands rigged to an object, like a door, to provide resistance. Whether you use traditional resistance bands or Board30’s approach, there are nearly unlimited exercises to try. Here is a bent-over latissimus dorsi muscles (or lat) pull that you can do at home using a resistance band.
