CAROLINE
Caroline started her motorcycling journey in her thirties by commuting on a 125cc to and from work to getting her full licence and a bigger bike a couple of years later. A motorcycling accident in 2015, whilst riding pillion with her husband, saw her with a few broken bones and the sad death of her husband. Whilst this affected her riding at the beginning it never stopped her. With help, advanced training and sheer determination she was back to loving the riding as she did when she started. This eventually led her on a quest to ride her beloved Boo, a Triumph Tiger 800, around the world.
MAJA: What got you into motorcycles in the first place?
My brother, who is a year older than me, decided to do the CBT in his thirties. Seeing how much he loved his bike, going out and meeting new people made me think how I always wanted to ride a bike and never got around to it. My husband heard me say it to someone else and he bought me a surprise birthday present which was a voucher for the CBT. I did that in 2013 and
