It was September 2017 that I spotted Editor Martyn had the CM ex-project Ford Ka for sale. With my daughter, Jade, turning 17 in early 2018, I sent an e-mail off to Martyn. A few weeks later and I found myself on the train to the NEC Birmingham to meet Martyn and collect the 2007 Ka. It was a perfect first car for the new driver in our family, lots of work had been done during the stint as a project car, with the only thing being play in the front wishbone bushes that had been recorded on the last two MOT’s, however Martyn was upfront about this and deducted money from the asking price!
Fast-forward to today – the Ka is still very much part of our family and I promised Martyn that I would write an update... Over the winter of 2017/2018, Jade was not yet 17, so
