Beat / What was the first book that captivated you?
Mark Rae / „Papillon“by Henri Charriere. Aptly, I read it when I was twelve years old, standing up leaning against a bunk bed. Something inside me knew that the story was true, with added embellishments from the author‘s creative source. I started writing lyrics with my musical output on Grand Central Records in the mid 90s. I moved to America in 2006 and started writing screenplays in Venice Beach, Los Angeles. My autobiography “Northern Sulphuric Soulboy” was my first book release. It was a cathartic experience to write about my past in the music industry.
