DAZZLING LIGHTS

I agree with Nick Crook; dazzling other drivers will make it much less likely to see you . You can’t see anything directly against the evening sun (or against blinding headlights) even with a helmet internal sun visor. One reason I wear a peaked helmet with which you can block low evening sun.

However, I was of the impression the main object of daylight running lights (not necessarily excessively bright) to be better seen was to have them wide set as far as possible, for this reason.
