Park Semi (Park) SKM Architects (hereinafter SKM) has been involved with various types of projects such as houses, resorts, hotels, corporate headquarters, commercial retail buildings, and hospitals. In particular, as the office deals with buildings of diverse scales and usages that are difficult to handle in an atelier architecture firm, SKM is receiving great attention for proposing a new paradigm of space. You first begin by asking fundamental questions to redefine the function of a building and find the reason for its existence, then you continue to answer through actual space rather than simply responding in the ideological sense. It’s like how you redefine the hotel space by opening the first floor of ‘Ananti Cove’ to the public and locating the hotel lobby on the top floor.
