PERILS AND PITFALLS

IT TOOK JUST SIX WEEKS FOR FISHING competition organiser, Ross Honey, to pull together this massive launch event, which saw a huge prize table worth over £20,000. And, when I tell you that the official first event to be held in 2022 is set to have a prize table ten times that amount, you can see why the whole world of boat angling is buzzing right now.

Ross is more well known for organising the World Carp Classic, World Predator Classic and Forces Carp Classic events, so he’s well versed in putting on a great show.

It was back in early March this year when Ross first called me to chat about his plans for a “massive boat fishing event” in the UK.
