Agents & Editors Conference

The Writers’ League of Texas 2021 Agents & Editors Conference will be held from September 17 to September 19 at the Hyatt Regency on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. The conference features presentations, panels, receptions, a keynote address, and one-on-one consultations with editors and agents for fiction and creative nonfiction writers. Participating agents include Ian Bonaparte (Janklow & Nesbit), Stephanie Delman (Sanford J. Greenburger Associates), Ronald Gerber (Lowenstein Associates), and John Rudolph (Dystel, Goderich & Bourret). The cost of the conference is $399 for Writers’ League members and $459 for non-members and includes a one-on-one consultation and a ticket for the keynote luncheon. Lodging is available at the conference hotel for discounted rates. Full access to conference recordings will also be offered after the in-person conference for $399. A.I.R. Studio Paducah

A.I.R. Studio Paducah offers residencies of two weeks to three months year-round to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers in the Lower Town Arts District of Paducah, Kentucky. Residents are provided with a private apartment, studio, and gallery space. The cost of the residency is $700 for two weeks and $1,000 for a month.
