Hulu’s new documentary about trans athletes is a winner.

When the subject flips that narrative on its head by allowing three young trans athletes — Mack, a wrestler from Texas; Sarah, a skier from New Hampshire; and Andraya, a runner from Connecticut — to tell their own stories. The result is powerful, frequently heartbreaking, but ultimately hopeful. For those who don’t understand the real, personal side of this debate, their eye-opening stories might literally change the game.
