What is the Rule of Law? The Rule of law guarantees the equality of all individuals in society. It is based on the principle that every person is equal before the law and the law must be applied equally without fear or favour. The Rule of Law must be applied across board. It cannot be limited in application to individuals of certain ethnicities, tribal affiliations, social standing, or influence.
