SUMMER ACTIVITIES

WITH THE SUMMER here at last, many of us are planning at least a few weeks away. In years gone by this could, for some people, mean booking the Channel Tunnel crossing, loading up the van and setting off on a European adventure full of discoveries and activities.

However, given the uncertainty about overseas travel, those long sultry summer days spent on foreign soil are going to have to wait for a while longer yet.

Abundance of adventure

That doesn’t, however, mean that there has to be any lack of adventure, or indeed any worry about what you’re going to do on your travels to keep everybody in the family entertained this summer.

As many of us have been discovering in recent months, there’s an abundance of great places to visit, things to see and activities to do throughout the UK – it’s simply a case of heading out to discover something new.
