Originally formed in the smoke-ridden, activism-hungry student hub of the University of California, Santa Barbara, reggae giants Rebelution leave a lasting imprint and help define the genres of reggae, rock and dub. The current lineup—consisting of Eric Rachmany, Rory Carey, Marley D. Williams and Wesley Finley—recently released the band’s seventh studio album, In the Moment, on June 18, taking cues from the hurdles of the past year and the ways in which we experience time differently.
