How much variation can you pack into a 100-mile circular ride? Depends where you are of course, but in Britain it’s usually enough to take in a decent variety of roads, scenery and riding. North and east Dorset promised a combination of chalk downs, pretty villages, heathlands and long, winding valleys... plus a ferry ride. My Zero DS has about 100 miles of range before it needs recharging, so we’d be fine – as long as I’d calculated the mileage correctly.
