An oasis in the Tankwa

The Tankwa Karoo is synonymous with drought, dust, arid plains with sparse vegetation and heat. In a way, it’s this remoteness that makes the region so beautiful, and there could hardly be a better place for escaping from humanity. Now if only there was a lovely river somewhere that would provide relief from the heat…

The good news is that such a place does exist – on the western edge of the Tankwa.
