Her death in a car crash in 1997 stunned the world and the impact of her loss has continued to reverberate for more than two decades.
But no one has suffered her absence more intensely than the two young boys – now men and parents themselves – to whom Diana, Princess of Wales was simply “Mummy”.
Last week, the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex both issued powerful statements following an investigation by Lord Dyson into the bombshell 1995 Panorama interview that Diana gave to Martin Bashir.
