ustainable hotel group Crystalbrook Collection is set to open the first five-star hotel in Newcastle. Transforming the long-standing has 130 contemporary rooms and suites with either harbour or park views. In the rooms, all bathroom amenities are biodegradable or recyclable, while throughout the hotel there’s keyless room access, paperless check-in and check-out and no single-use plastic. The hotel’s restaurant and rooftop bar will source 80 per cent of its produce grown from within a three-hour radius of the hotel.
