DELAYED START FOR PARKIN LEADS TO SILVERWARE

The Silverstone weekend proved to be a bright one for Darkside driver Scott Parkin as he netted three wins and a further podium across the MotorSport Vision Racing meeting.

However, his event did not get off to the best of starts when the opening Focus Cup race was brought forward by half an hour, catching out Parkin, who had been busy preparing his VW Golf for the subsequent Trackday championship contest. With the assembly area empty when he arrived there, aside for his turbodiesel, he had to begin from the pitlane.
