THE South African men's 4x100m team that recently clinched the gold medal at the World Athletics Relays event in Poland is not a closed shop says Athletics South Africa (ASA) relay team manager, Danie Cornelius.
The team made history by becoming the first South African team to win gold at the World Athletics Relays. They pipped Brazil at the post, thanks to a lightning-fast last-leg finish by Akani Simbine.
Cornelius said Simbine and the other three sprinters Thando Dlodlo, Gift Leotlela and Clarence Munyai,
