Rallycross in the UK will get underway with the opening round of the BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill this weekend.
But, despite the ongoing challenges surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, the series has attracted record numbers, with many new faces to the rallycross paddock.
While there are more than 30 new drivers to the discipline, some have no previous motorsport experience in their locker, others have moved from other areas of motorsport.Anew entrant to the Classic category is three-time Classic Hot Rod World champion Lee Wood.
