Ducati’s Scrambler Nightshift
Like the new Mini, Fiat 500, or VW Beetle, Ducati looked at their history for inspiration and created an entirely new brand. The new Scrambler was hyped by cool images and glamourous locations. It was aimed at a new generation of potential Ducati owners – those more concerned about looks and personalisation than performance – and essentially, new riders.
Once you removed the hipster image, there was no hiding the fact the Scrambler was an excellent entry-level bike into the Ducati brand – simple and easy to use, yet fun. The Scrambler was updated for 2019, and again its excellence shone.
