Capturing vibrant colours with your EOS

EOS cameras are known for their great colour rendition, and colour science is one of Canon’s areas of great expertise. By default the cameras capture good colour, but sometimes you just want a little more power, so take a look at the settings that influence colour from your camera. Shoot in JPEG and the camera settings are important, but if you shoot Raw you can make more changes later in post. If shooting JPEG, ensure you choose the highest quality option to maximize smooth gradations in shots.
