1 Writing is essential to my own wellbeing

n her journal, Anaïs Nin said ‘We write to taste life twice, once in the moment and in retrospection’. During my training as a coach, I was taught to write reflection notes in order to help me analyse and learn from my practice. This habit has stayed, and a daily journal. Whether it’s in the public arena of blogging or a private diary, capturing my thoughts in words helps me to extract more meaning from my work and life.
