INDIANS make up 50 000 of Tanzania’s 58 million population and despite being a minority, the community has contributed considerably to the country’s growth and economy.
Tanzania is in East Africa. According to wikipedia.org, Indians arrived in the country as traders. Most were from the Gujarati community and traded in Zanzibar as artisans, manufacturing glass beads using tube-drawing technology.
