DR FRANK Mdlalose, who has been described as an outstanding servant of South Africa, succumbed to Covid-19 on Saturday. He was 89.
Mdlalose was KwaZulu-Natal’s first premier, from May 1994 to March 1997; the country’s ambassador to Egypt and the former national chairperson of the IFP. He retired from active politics in 2005.
